Huddersfield travel to relegated Stockport knowing a win would push them ever closer to securing their play off spot.

With just three games to go Lee Clark’s side sit 6 points clear of Colchester with only 9 points to play for and Colchester due to visit next week.

The game also see’s Anthony Pilkington return to his old club for only the second time since he joined Huddersfield.

Lee Clark has concerns over the state of the playing surface at Edgeley Park, I seem to remember it was the same last season too!!

Vital Quotes:

Lee Clark ahead of the game

‘Stockport is a big game for us because we’ll be taking about 3,500 fans over and we want to give them a positive result and one that gets us a bit closer. We will totally respect them and I have a lot of time for Gary Ablett who I know from when he was at Liverpool and I was at Newcastle and I like him a lot. Hopefully we’ll win the football match and then we can share a beer after the game.

‘We will have to adapt to the conditions because the pitch isn’t the greatest as we all know and we did that well last season. We will just have to do that again, make good decisions and be professional.

Stockport County Team News:
