The FA CUP third round all Championship clash is not one that set either set of fans excitement levels to sky high but provides both with an equal chance of making round 4.

Reading have recently changed manager and new boss Steve Clarke has stated that he respects the cup but will rotate his squad to give some fringe players an opportunity.

It is widely expected that Chris Powell will use the distraction of the cup to field a somewhat changed side, with one eye however on progress into round 4.
