David Moss has departed his role as head of football operations after just four months, by mutual consent.

Moss only recently joined Huddersfield following Stuart Webber’s jump ship move to Norwich towards the tail end of last seasons Championship play-off wining campaign.

The 48-year-old joined the Premier League new boys from Scottish giants Celtic but his employment has been a short lived one

The Official Site released a statement, it read:-

“Huddersfield Town can today confirm that head of football operations David Moss has vacated his role at the club by mutual consent.

“The club will now begin the search for a new head of football operations.

“Everyone at Huddersfield Town would like to wish David all the best in his future endeavours.”

It certainly feels like a sudden departure after only 4 months but if both parties have decided it isn’t working then so be it.

The search for a new head of football operations I am sure will already be underway and The Terriers are unlikely to be short of applicants.
