Charlton Athletic finally overcame Oxford United in the FA CUp 3rd round replay, setting up a visit to Huddersfield on Saturday 25th Jan in the fourth round.
The Addicks drew the 2-2 in the 3rd round at the Valley, forcing the replay tonight, the games are late coming to a conclusion due to the postponements due to the inclement weather which left Charlton’s Valley ground flooded.
Goals from Yann Kermogant (35 & 58), and Danny Green (38), were enough to see off a brave Oxford and the Addicks will now prepare for a weekend all Championship clash in the fourht round.
