The Championship season continued with the latest round of play-off games.

It’s finely poised in both the Fulham-Reading and Huddersfield-Sheffield Wednesday play-off ties as both first leg ties ended in draw.

Here’s a round-up of the action.

Saturday 13th May 2017 – CHAMPIONSHIP
Fulham 1-1 Reading 17:30

Sunday 14th May 2017 – CHAMPIONSHIP
Huddersfield Town 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday 12:00

Fulham hit back against Reading at Craven Cottage to earn a 1-1 draw, a result the visitors will most likely be the happiest with heading into next week’s second leg at Madejski Stadium.

The Royals played out the final 10 minutes a man light following Paul McShane’s sending off but the Whites couldn’t find a winner, leaving this tie well balanced at ‘the half way stage’ as the clichés would say.

Huddersfield’s seven game winless run against Sheffield Wednesday, who conceded less than a goal per game in the Championship this season, was extended as Sunday’s John Smith’s Stadium meeting ended in a 0-0 draw.

The Owls will probably fancy their chances in the second leg owing to that defensive record and the impressive run against Town.
