JAMES VAUGHAN is a wanted man.

Derby have confirmed interest in the Norwich City striker with an official approach on the table to speak to Vaughan, and a rumoured offer of 750k

However Town manager Mark Robins has also confirmed that Town will be doing everything in their power to make a deal work, should Norwich indeed decide to sell the striker.

Vaughan has a year to run on his Norwich City deal, but with the Canaries fighting against relegation from the Premier League, any decision is likely going to be made after their destiny has been decided.

Robins spoke to htafc.com:-

“We will move heaven and earth to try and him a Huddersfield Town player,”

‘There will be plenty of competition for him, but he is going on holiday on Monday so we will have to wait for him to return.

‘I am sure Dean (Hoyle), Nigel (Clibbens) and Ross Wilson will do everything to try and make it happen.

‘Ultimately it will come down to James, but I know he has enjoyed himself. We will make him a better player.

‘If we can tie something up then fantastic, but that is something that will happen down the line.”

Vaughan himself has confirmed that he would be very interested in talking to Huddersfield Town, should Norwich decide to dispose of his services.

I am sure James will enjoy his holiday, and its a well earned one!

Hopefully we will have some positive news to report on Vaughan’s future in the coming weeks.
