Town sign striker at last!

Huddersfield Town manager Peter Jackson today told the official Town website: ‘I’ve been after him for a while and I’m delighted he has decided to come here. He’s a proven goalscorer, and although it has not worked out for him at Wednesday he was far away the best player in the second division when he was at Torquay.’

Jackson has been striving to bring in a loan (or permanent) striker since the opening of the January transfer window. Town’s goals have ‘dried up’ considerably since the end of November with the chief goal-threat Pawel Abbott being markedly out of form in recent matches.

Hopefully, the former Torquay and Wigan striker will give the Terriers a huge boost as they look to get their promotion bid back on track after a spell that has seen them gain only one win in their last ten league matches.
