Torquay Take Lloyd

Anthony Lloyd has joined Torquay on a month’s loan and is set to go straight into their squad for the FA Cup game against Harrogate Town.

The left footed player is a graduate of the Academy and has made himself a regular in the reserves over the last 18 months without breaking into the first team. It is believed the loan spell has a view to a permanent move.

‘Lloydy is a great kid and always gives 100% and, with him not featuring in the first team for a while, I thought it was fair to let him go to Torquay on loan, especially because his contract is up at the end of this season,’ said boss Jackson.

He has also been given permission to play for Torquay in this weekend’s FA Cup clash against Harrogate Town.
