Stan Ternent takes his Huddersfield side to face Peteborough this afternoon, looking for a victory to appease the Town fans.

Following the embarassing turn around at Hartlepool on Tuesday night, Stan knows that time may no longer be on his side.

With only 3 wins from 12 competitive games this season this surely is a must win game for Stan.

Peterborough on the other hand have had a good start to their campaign in league one and are unbeaten in 8 games.

They also have former Town target Dom Green in their squad and im sure he will be out to show Stan what he missed out on.

Vital Quotes:

Stan Ternent told the Yorkshire post ahead of the trip to London Road:-

‘I like my team to go out, play and enjoy it, but we can certainly do better at passing the ball, scoring and defending. We can improve on every aspect of the game.

‘That is what we are trying to do, but it takes a bit of time. Unfortunately, time is not a commodity you are afforded as a manager and we are well aware of that. I have a tunnel vision and I know what I want and how to get it. I just hope I am given time to do it because if I am, we will be fine. If not, I have done my best.’

Is he on his last legs? Before Mr.Davy puts him out of his misery?

Peterborough Team News:

Shane Blackett, Jamie Day, Dean Keates, Chris Westwood and Craig Braham-Barrett all look set to miss out for The Posh. However they are boosted by the return of striker Aaron McLean who looks set to partner Mackail-Smith up front.

Player to watch: Craig Mackail-Smith

Has looked impressive this season and has attracted interest from other clubs including West Brom.

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Andy Booth is definately missing for Town, and is due to have his operation on Tuesday, Cadders is also likely to miss out along with Steve Jones.

Dickinson has extended his loan for a final 3rd month and will be looking to be on the winning side today!

Worthington looks set to start despite needing stiches after coming off at Hartlepool

Player to watch: Keigan Parker

He could be set for a starting slot in place of Jones, who will face a late fitness test. Parker has a point to prove and hopefully put in a performance to keep his place.

Match Facts & Stats

Last meeting 2004/2005 season.
Huddersfield completed the double over Peterborough with a 2-1 victory at the Galpharm and at London road.

Peteborough went on to be relegated that season.

Lets hope for more of the same!

Match Prediction:

Peterborough 1 – 3 Huddersfield

It will be just typical Town to go and win this game in inpressive style.

If not it could spell the end for Ternent who has yet to impress many of the Town faithful.
