SWANSEA CITY chairman Huw Jenkins has confirmed his clubs interest in Huddersfield right-back Jack Hunt – however Huddersfield say they do not need to sell their 3 million pound rated right back, nor has any official approach been received.

Swansea are the reported club who made a 2 million pound bid during the January transfer window which was subsequently rejected.

The Terriers academy product has also been linked with Cardiff, Reading & Wigan in the past has made over 100 appearances for the famous Blue & White of Huddersfield Town after shining during a loan spell with today’s friendly opponents Chesterfield.

Hunt was named in the PFA League I Team of the Season for 2011-12 and largely impressed in last seasons Championship campaign.

Huddersfield maintain that they don’t need to sell any players as they continue their building and preparations for the coming season
