LIAM RIDEHALGH has had his loan spell at Rotherham extended until the end of the season.

The left-back has had loan spells with Swindon, Chesterfield (twice) and Rotherham over the past 18 months.

The 21-year-old has impressed whilst on loan at all of those clubs, and with his current Huddersfield contract set to expire at the end of the season, he perhaps could now be playing for a deal with Rotherham.

Ridehalgh himself admitted “I am not sure what my situation is at Huddersfield, I`m sure I will get a call or have a meeting with them towards the end of the season.’

Simon Grayson has had scouts monitoring Ridehalgh’s progression and has stated that he will assess the situation in the summer.

Ridehalgh last game for Huddersfield was way back in April 2011 although he does have 26 appearances to his name for Huddersfield, all made under Lee Clark whislt the Terriers were in league one.

What would you do? Extend his deal? or let him go?
