Huddersfield Town midfielder Oliver Norwood has been included in the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.

They will face Russia in Belfast on 22nd March, before then hosting Israel on Tuesday 26th.

21-year-old Norwood, already has 9 senior caps & will be looking for his tenth & 11th caps during next week.

The midfielder has netted 3 goals in 34 Town appearances this season, despite patchy form since he joined in the summer.

The midfielder started the season on-fire and then went somewhat off the boil, but since the arrival of Mark Robins seems to have re-discovered some sort of form.

Norwood started yesterday’s derby at Elland Road against Leeds, but was substituted in the 76th minute and replaced by Jermaine Beckford, who has also been called up for international duty for next week by Jamaica.
