John Dungworth has finally been replaced on the coaching staff at Huddersfield by Mick Docherty.
No surprise, where hes worked before, Burnley and Gillingham!
The 57 year-old eldest son of former Chelsea and Man Utd manager Tommy, joins up up with Ternent & Jepson after the trio worked together at Burnley.
Docherty told the htafc.com
‘There are a lot of parallels with Burnley, who are now established in the Championship and I firmly believe Stan can do the same thing here at Huddersfield.
Dochertys last job was alongside Jepson at Gillingham!
He also previously managed lower league stalwarts, Hartlepool United and Rochdale, before he joined Ternent and Jepson at Burnley.

Were just a small town in Blackburn
It could be a good appointment, looks like Ternent is going to recreate a Burnley a decade further on.
well i guess it was to be expected, , wheres our signings thats what im wondering!!
Anyone been to Turf Moor, not the best ground in the World is it. Last time I went was when Macari was our manager, Ternent might have been theirs I cant remember, we lost 1-0. Hadnt been up their in years, it wasn’t the best.
whos next? gascoigne? lol
Blackburn more like Rochdale.
You folks do not seem very happy with these appointments. I assume you were expecting a bigger name who would inspire a bit more confidence?
