Coventry City manager Mark Robins has moved to the 1-3 favourite for the Huddersfield Town job.

Robins has moved up the betting shortlist, despite insisting he would remain at Coventry unless he was told otherwise.

The news goes hand in hand with today’s rumour that Huddersfield are approaching a club for permission to speak with a manager.

Some people have put 2 & 2 together, however Nigel Adkins, Karl Robinson and Graeme Jones are also still in and around the favourites with the bookies all pushed out to 20-1.

Will we see an imminent arrival, or will the process enter a fourth week as the search for Simon Grayson’s successor continues.

Huddersfield currently sit in 18th spot in the Championship on 37 points after a well deserved draw with Cardiff at the weekend.

The Terriers have an FA Cup 4th round replay at Leicester this week with a potential tie with Premiership Wigan Athletic awaiting the victors.
