Huddersfield have allowed two players to leave the John Smith’s Stadium on loan until the end of the season.

Joe Murphy will hope for his first involvement at first team level in a year having left for a loan spell with Bury. The twice capped former Republic of Ireland has found himself well down the pecking order at Huddersfield with Liverpool loanee keeper Danny Ward the clear no.1 this season.

The 35 year old – who last turned out for Town in January 2016 – could make his Bury debut against League 1 leaders Scunthorpe on Saturday with the Shakers battling against relegation.

Also heading out on loan until the end of the season is Rekeil Pyke.

Pyke has already had a loan spell with Wrexham this season with the 19 year old now having a chance in the Football League as the forward has joined League 2 promotion chasing Colchester.

He’s yet to make his first team debut for Huddersfield but will now have a chance to impress at senior level at the Weston Homes Community Stadium. His loan would also include a potential play-off bid Colchester could be involved in.
