LEE NOVAK was substituted after 54 minutes of today’s defeat at Derby and replaced by Sean Scannell, after picking up what looked an innocuous injury after challenging for the ball with a Derby player.

It was revealed after the game that Novak has had to have his foot put in a pot as it’s suspected that he may have broken a Metatarsal.

Town already have Danny Ward sidelined with that very same problem, and with the injury list growing and the loan window due to open next week, maybe this could force the board to move along the appointment of the next Huddersfield Town manager.

Current injured List.

Jermaine Beckford (Hamstring) 4-6 weeks
Keith Southern (Achilles)
Danny Ward (foot)
Lee Novak (suspected metatarsal break)
Peter Clarke (concussion)
James Vaughan – although hopefully not serious

Huddersfield face a tough ask with league leaders Cardiff City the next up, at The John Smiths Stadium.

The Welsh outfit are currently 10 points clear at the Top of the Championship and fresh off a 1-0 victory over Leeds at Elland Road.

Things are never dull at Huddersfield Town.
