In-Form Huddersfield Town striker Laurent Depoitre has earnt himself a recall to the Belgian national side.

Depoitre who has two goals this season, against Leicester and Manchester United for the Terriers started the season behind record signing Steve Mounie but a heel injury thrust Depoitre into the first team and it’s a shirt he’s certainly earnt with some all action displays which clearly impressed Belgium manager Roberto Martinez

Depoitre replaces Christian Benteke in the squad, and he will now look forward to matches against Mexico and Japan.

Depotire tweeted his joy at the recall
