JAMES VAUGHAN is set for a second scan that will determine the extent of the thigh injury that has kept him out of the Town team for the last three matches.

It is a certainty that Vaughan will miss his fourth straight match at Barnsley today.

The 24-year-old of course has had a terrible injury record throughout his career and Terriers manager Simon Grayson revealed that Vaughan was feeling ‘a bit down psychologically’

Grayson was quick to point out that whilst Vaughan may indeed be injured the positive aspect is that it isn’t a recurrence of his knee injury that ruled him out of almost all of last season at Norwich.

Let’s hope the scan results come back and show it isn’t overly serious, as despite the addition of Simon Church, Vaughan has proven to be a major player for Huddersfield Town this season.

Champagne Super Novak still gets my vote.Mr Vaughan can take his time for me if it means him getting straight back in the side at Lee’s expense.
