Jackson Praises Youngster

Peter Jackson wants goalscoring right back, Andy Holdsworth, to continue getting forward and chipping in with the goals as Huddersfield look to push up the table.

The 21 year old has found the back of the net twice in his last three matches and this is exactly the sort of form Jackson wants from his players to keep the club worthy promotion candidates.

‘Andy is a terrific young player who is in outstanding form at the moment. Andy is probably our most consistent player this season, I thought he took his goal extremely well against Welling and I want him to attack more.

‘There’s no reason why he shouldn’t be among the scorers more often, because he’s well capable of doing it. He’s a brave defender, he’s good in the air for someone who isn’t the biggest and his crossing is very good,’ said Jackson.
