HUDDERSFIELD TOWN entertain Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday evening, locked on 23 points in 6th & 7th place.

Rovers are only above Town on goal difference and Tuesday also see’s the return of Jordan Rhodes to Huddersfield Town for the first time since his £8 Million pound switch.

Rovers enter the game under new management with Henning Berg, and his first game in charge ended in a miserable 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Town will be hoping to pour on more misery for Blackburn and another former Eagle, Sean Scannell, will be looking for more goals after opening his account for The terriers at the weekend.

James Vaughan and Jermaine Beckford are both being reported as doubtful for the game, although that could just be a ploy! (We can live in hope)

Vital Quotes: Simon Grayson

“It makes it harder to work out what system and personnel they will play as Henning has only been in charge for one game,”

‘He will have his own ideas and beliefs and no doubt it will have been a whirlwind few weeks for him.’

‘We will need to be more ruthless than them if we are to come out on top.”

And on Vaughan & Beckford the gaffer added:-

“We will see where they are on Tuesday and make a late decision on them. We won`t take any risks on them as we have too many games coming up and we don`t want to lose them for an extended period of time.

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Jack Hunt serves the last of his two match suspension. Calum Woods is expected to deputise at right-back again.

James Vaughan & Jermaine Beckford will be hopeful of being passed fit, but both are rated as doubtful

Player to watch: Adam Clayton

Provided the spark for the goal at the weekend, and is capable of delivering goals & assists, Tuesday may see a fired up performance from the former Man City trainee

Blackburn Rovers Team News:

18 year old Adam Henley is set to keep Bradley Orr out of the side at Right-Back.

David Dunn, Jason Lowe & Fabio Nunes are all unavailable.

Jordan Rhodes faces his former team for the first time following his £8 million pound move to Rovers

Player to watch: Jordan Rhodes

Who else, I don’t even feel the need to type why he is the one to watch.

We all know what he is capable of.

Five Goals for Rovers in 11 Games so far. (Plus 2 for Town!)
