NAHKI WELLS is a wanted man, with several Championship sides chasing the 22-year-old’s signature.

The Bradford City striker has impressed in the Bantams cup campaigns this season and has netted 17 goals already this season.

Wolves, Leeds and Barnsley are all reported to be interested but it is reported that Huddersfield are leading the chasing pack.

There were rumours involving a potential swap deal, including Lee Novak who is out of contract in the summer, but those appear to be wide of the mark.

Jack Hunt revealed in an interview with the Yorkshire Post ‘Lee Novak was also linked with Bradford City and I think it is the biggest load of rubbish I have heard in my life – we have had a bit of banter about that as well.’

A step up from League Two to the Championship would be a bit of a gamble, but Wells certainly looks to have the potential.

Elsewhere rumoured transfer target Ryan Fraser has joined Bournemouth for £400,000 from Aberdeen.
