Having seen a reported £5million offer rejected by Norwich City for Alex Pritchard, Huddersfield Town are said to have returned with a vastly improved bid.

The Sun are one of many to report today that Huddersfield have returned with an £11million offer for the player, but there are suggestions that may still fail as Norwich are determined to hold onto him.

The 24 year old has become a key performer for Norwich as the first half of the season came to a close and he returned to fitness following an ankle injury and so far this campaign the former Tottenham Hotspur youngster has made nine appearances with a return of one goal.

The claim we offered £5million seems a little off as reports suggest Norwich signed him for £8million, but talk of £11million would certainly seem closer to the mark.

The Sun’s report goes further though and suggests that a deal is now incredibly close, and their ‘sources’ say a four and a half year deal has been agreed by the player.
