As the topsy turvey football world of pre season friendlies continued last night, Huddersfield came off the back of a 3-0 drubbing by FL2 Rochdale to defeat Premiership Blackburn Rovers by 2-1 at the Galpharm.
Two goals by Luke Beckett, one shortly before the interval and another close to the end of the game, were enough to seal victory in a fine performance.
Roberts got a goal back for Rovers with virtually the last kick of the game.
Beckett certainly seems to be in the goalscoring groove, netting regularly already, encouragingly too Cadamarteri is playing well leaving the field to an ovation when substituted.
Town, Glennon, Hardy, Skarz, Mirfin, Clarke, Kamara, Schofield, Colins, Holdsworth (Worthington), Cadamarteri (Young), Beckett
Rovers, Brown (Enckleman), Ooijer, Warnock, Nelson (Kizanishvili), Samba (Henchoz), Tugay (Savage), Rigters (Derbyshire), Dunn (Mokoeba), Berner, Gallagher (Bentley), McCarthy (Roberts)
