Vital Huddersfield member has submitted us his views on the players individual performance against Norwich

Smithies – 6.

Couldn’t do much about the goals but he really has to start claiming some of these corners again.

Peltier – 6.

Got better as the game went on but was in no-mans land for first goal.

Heffernan – 7.

Coming in for a bit of stick elsewhere but personally I think he had a good solid game. If we’re to have a chance of the play-offs he has to play every game, even if it means reducing his training schedule.

P Clarke – 7.

Positioning could have been better for the goals but otherwise another good game for the skipper.

Trotman – 8.

Outstanding first half performance, shame he had an iffy 15 minute spell straight after the break.

Roberts – 8.

Everything we did went through him.

Pilkington – 7.

Again he’s getting stick, but some of his corners and crosses were superb. And like in the Leeds match, he set up a goal.

Drinkwater – 8.

Very strong first half but looked to tire by the end.

Collins – 6.5.

Not sure whether to sit or go forward at
times, though a lack of football could have caused this.

Novak – 6.

Yes he tried and worked hard and was unlucky not to score from a great save but missed a sitter for a 1v1 that would have settled the match. Worrying to see him limp/crawl off like he did.

Rhodes – 7.

The service up to him isn’t great at the moment, but he’s always trying to make something out of it. How can someone like him hope to challenge huge centre-backs in the air?

Robinson – 5.

Had a 35 yard shot which may have crept in had the keeper been paralysed as it came to him but did little else.

Berrett –

No time to influence the game

Referee – 2.

Let the game run, but only when we were fouled and the ball fell to Norwich. Lost control of the game after about 30 mins.
