HTFC – Moura-Komenan aiming for deal

Anthony Moura-Komenan is still training with Huddersfield Town as he aims to secure himself a deal with Lee Clarks in form side

Moura-Komenan has played for The Terriers in a midweek reserve game against Middlesbrough and was largely impressive, despite not having played any football so far this season.

Moura-Komenan came through the academy at Bordeaux and has also played for AC Ajaccio, but the 23 year old would be avaliable to sign immediately due to being a free agent should Lee Clark decide to add him to an already large League one squad.

The exciting winger was reccomended to Clark from his former team mate and now agent Antoine Sibierski.

Lee Clark spoke to the Huddersfield Examiner about Moura-Komenan

‘Anthony has got a good pedigree as a youngster at the Bordeaux academy, but he hasn’t been associated with a club this season,’

‘He’s not played much football recently, but we’ve been impressed with what we’ve seen of him in training – he’s got ability.

‘Anthony can be pleased with his 80-odd minutes in the reserves and it’s now a matter of how long we keep on looking at him before decisions have to be made.’

So it looks like a decision will be made one way or another very soon, however with the current form of Roberts and Pilkington should Moura-Komenan be signed at Town he will have an incredible fight to get into the first team!
