New signing Jonathan Hogg has spoken about his recent move back up north after joining Huddersfield Town from Watford.

The 24-year-old who featured in Watford’s dramatic 302 win at Huddersfield last season explained to the clubs official site what he is all about:-

“I will work very hard for the Club and I am very much a team player,”

“I like to put myself about, win the ball and keep things simple when I have it.”

“I am ready and raring to go’

Hogg found it difficult to leave Watford for footballing reasons however his personal life meant that staying down south wasn’t an option and he simply had to re-locate closer to home to be nearer his children.

Hogg said, of Huddersfield’s interest, that it developed quickly and all has been completed within a day or two of the enquiry, so some quick decisions were made. However the clubs training facilities played a key factor in deciding that Huddersfield Town was the right career choice.

Hogg becomes Mark Robins 7th summer capture and is now available for the Championship opener at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
