Hartlepool Vs Huddersfield FT

A penalty provided the turning point in the game tonight. Perhaps harshly awarded by the linesman in the 83rd minute.

Town looked comfortable up until the award of the penalty and went on to lose the game 5-3.

Dickinson stood out with his goals and workrate, and it was a marked improvement on the last home game vs Bristol Rovers.

Dickinson hit the post in injury time and the game could have ended up as a cricket score, but to concede 5 goals anywhere is simply not good enough.

But it all counts for nothing as Hartlepool have left Victoria Park with all three points.

    2 things from the above………………….

    1. How the hell can we lose 3 goals in 7 mins. I know our defence is bad but come on…….The team of 11 year olds at our JFC dont do that. Our defence was bad last year but this year its simply awful.
    2. Stated above “Dickinson stood out with his goals and workrate”. Stan, hes going back soon so why are you relying so heavily on him? I know boothys injured, I know cads is injured and now Keigan Parker may have a bit of a knock but you brought Parker in telling us how special he was then you sit him on the bench if he’s lucky. Whats wrong with young Broadbent? hes fast and to be honest the reserves are playing better than the 1st team with weaker players so maybe have a management swap shop?

It really is not good enough and I for 1 have had enough of you Stan. I am sick to death of us getting a lead and losing it. “Champagne for beer money” eh, we’re not even getting Shandy, were getting weak, alcohol free inconsistent crap. The only thing we have in common with beer and champagne at the moment is that all 3 go down well. Stan said after the unacceptable draw on Saturday we were “OK” and that 4 points from 6 was fine but its now 4 from 9 and a further dent in our already abysmal goal difference tally. Its totally unacceptable.

Crap again, but what is more worrying is that I’m starting not to care. At least i’m going away next week so I don’t have to suffer this for a full ten days. Cue our upturn in form!
