Huddersfield Town have offered new contracts to development squad players Matt Crooks and Harry Bunn.

Striker Bunn, son of Town coach Frankie, made three first-team appearances from the bench for The Terriers last season and scored an impressive 8 goals in 11 Under 21 games last season after joining Town following his release by Manchester City.

Huddersfield born Crooks, 20, was also involved in last seasons Under 21 side that won the Professional development League II North. Crooks who started his career as a midfielder but has also featured at centre-back was an unused substitute for the Championship home fixture with Brighton.

Crooks has also taken in loan spells at both FC Halifax Town and Radcliffe Borough and returned at the start of this year after an ankle operation.

Both players are expected to extend their stays with the Terriers.
