ADAM CLAYTON had a watching brief as he joined to travelling Town faithful on Tuesday night at Bolton.

The midfielder was sitting out a one-match ban for accumulating 5 yellow cards and chose to support his teammates by joining the fans in the away end at the Reebok.

Huddersfield went on to win that game 1-0 and now Clayton is available for selection again and will be hoping for inclusion from the start.

Keith Southern took his place against Bolton but was forced off before the end of the game, replaced by Oscar Gobern.

Danny Ward also picked up a dead leg that forced him off against Bolton. He had replaced Martin Paterson who is still doubtful with a hamstring niggle, former Ipswich striker Jon Stead is hoping to capitalise and get into the team, however Sean Scannell is also in contention.
