Sean Scannell has had a quiet return to Huddersfield Town earlier than expected with the wideman having picked up a groin injury in training.
The injury could rule Scanz out for 5-6 weeks and Burton have taken the decision to terminate his loan spell and send him back to Huddersfield a statement read on Burtons official website.
As it could be more than two months before he’s fit to play again it probably makes sense to get someone else in. We thank him for everything he has done for us.’
Scannell had made 17 appearances for the Brewers this season but faield to find the net in any of his outings, Burton currently occupy 22nd place in the Championship with 24 points from 26 games.
