Huddersfield Town have announced that striker Harry Bunn has put pen to paper on a new 12 month contract.

The 21 year old came to us initially on an emergency loan deal from Manchester City back in November 2013 and he linked up with our Development squad to serve an assessment period.

Having impressed in our U21 campaign in his time with us, following his release by the Premier League Champions, he penned a permanent deal until the end of last season, 2013-14, in January of this year.

In his time with us, he built on his earlier impressive displays, and from January he scored eight U21 goals in eleven starts, and he even went on to make three substitute appearances in the Championship as manager Mark Robins believed he had more than earnt his chance.

Those appearances came in March and April in games against Blackburn, Ipswich and Brighton, and built on the two League One appearances he had made earlier in the season when on loan with Sheffield United.

The youngster has on the back of that, now signed a new 12 month contract seeing him through until next summer, and Huddersfield hold a further 12 month option in their favour.
