JERMAINE BECKFORD has had the results of his scan back on the hamstring injury picked up against Crystal Palace.

The Leicester loanee, who has already missed 7 games this season through a hamstring injury has been confirmed today that he has a grade 2 tear and will be out for 4-6 weeks.

It’s further bad news for Huddersfield as Beckford will now miss crucial games as they battle to stay in the division, with just 16 games to go, a worrying statistic of goals for being low, and goals against being high.

Surely we must now look to the loan market, again, to deal with this loss

  • he has his knockers, but this is a big big loss, especially with news that Novak may be out too, leaves us with Alan Lee & James Vaughan as the only senior strikers … and we all know that’s not going to be good enough, we are already struggling for goals!
