I for one hope that Adam Hammill is back in the side tomorrow for the Boxing Day trip to Rotherham.

However I fear that won’t be the case with the winger having struggled this season with injury and cutting a frustrated figure watching from the sidelines.

Hammill thought he was back for the Sheffield Wednesday game on Nov 22nd but a late injury in training put back his return even further still.

Last seasons top assist maker and creative attacking threat is something that Town are lacking at the moment with only a Plan A in place as revealed by Scannell & Bunn in recent interviews, step forward Adam Hammill please!

Hammill was set for a return in the home defeat to Birmingham, but having initially been in the team, he was dropped to the bench; and didn’t take kindly to the set back, this prompted his then removal from the side.

The passion shown here could be viewed from either perspective, I will let you draw your own conclusions, however if the lad is fit enough to play I would want him in my Huddersfield Town side.

With James Vaughan also rumoured to be starting at Rotherham, these two have synergy and understanding as they showed on numerous occasions at the start of last season.

What say you? Should Hammill be in the Team on Friday ?
